DEAF & DUMB CHILDREN’S SUMMER CAMP ORGANIZED AT FALAKATA

Webdesk, TNI Falakata 10^th June, 2016: Khagenhaat Welfare organization is organized a summer camp for the deaf and dumb children with the funding of Big lottery fund and Distributers. The camp is organised at Falakata High School. The summer camp which started from 5th of this month concluded today. The camp was inaugurated by the Falakata BDO Smt. Smrita Subba, MLA Mr. Anil Adhikari, Falakata BWO Mr. Roshan Lama, the principal of Falakata High School Dr. Subhash Sengupta and other distinguished guests. KWO Secretary Mr. Lakshmikanta Roy expressed his satisfaction of organizing the camp. In this 6 day camp, 150 deaf and dumb children from 5 blocks (i.e. Dhupguri, Falakata, Madarihat, Mainaguri and Jalpaiguri Sadar) participated. The BDO Smt. Smrita Subba declared that in the coming month that three students will be felicitated for scoring good marks in Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examination.
